Why Do We Text You a Week Before Every Window Clean?
October 2026
- Reliable, professional and fully insured
- Flexible 4, 8, 12 weekly cleaning options
- Automated texts 7 days before your job
The Direct Answer
An automatic text goes out seven days before every scheduled clean, giving enough notice to move a car off the drive, unlock the side gate, or let us know if you are away that day. The point is not politeness for its own sake, it is removing the need for you to track a cycle in your head. Once you are on a schedule, the system reminds you, not the other way round.
What the week's notice is actually for
- Moving the car. A car parked in front of ground-floor windows blocks access and a clean pass.
- Unlocking the gate. If the side gate is locked and there is no other way round, the back of the house gets skipped that visit.
- Telling us you are away. A week's notice is enough time to message back and rearrange rather than us turning up to an empty house.
Why seven days specifically
Long enough that it is not a last-minute scramble, short enough that it is still fresh in mind on the day. A reminder sent a month out gets forgotten; one sent the night before does not give time to sort anything out if there is a problem.
What happens if you miss the text
Nothing drastic. We still turn up on the scheduled day and do everything we can reach. If the gate happens to be locked that one time, we note it and the back of the house is caught on the next visit rather than charged for and skipped silently.
FAQ: Can I change how I'm contacted?
Message us and we will set it up however suits — most people are on WhatsApp.
FAQ: Do I need to be in for the clean?
No. As long as we can get through the side gate we do the whole house and message you when we are done.
